Short answer: Yes, it is almost certain that the soap and as I explain to you why later, but still a little softer.

Long answer: Well, here's the thing ... True Soap is a very specific, consisting of sodium carbonate (soda) or potassium (potash) salts and their actions by the reaction of lye with fat. Almost nothing is really more of a soap, even things that say: "soaps". They are soaps, detergents, not really.

So if you something, "says soap", which essentially means that it is visible only to respond free of fat, with lye. Most products are free of soap, even if they are not mentioned.

What this means for you is that it is very unlikely that the Deep Clean Facial Cleanser contains soap. It's more of washing and thickening agent together like all other products from Neutrogena facial cleansing. The only thing that is feared, as irritating as the other ingredients. There are two things you can do. You can use all the ingredients on the label can be found here: http://www.cosmeticscop.com/learn/dictio ... tor see if one of the ingredients are irritants. Or you can change to something like Cetaphil cleaner or if you mixed really like Neutrogena, a mild soap or skin care without Foam Cleanser One Step Gentle Cleanser, which (are recommended by experts in skin care, and not "experts" from the Company hired!). Each of these cleaners are very mild, which is what you want.
